Maileg is a danish design brand of contemporary interior lifestyle concepts established in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil.

The Maileg collection has a unique authentic look and touch created by designer Dorthe Mailil. The collection emphasizes contemporary season concepts within decoration for Christmas and easter and a seperate collection for children.

The Maileg concept and brand is sold throughout the scandinavian and european market. The collection is now also available in Japan, USA and Canada.

Dorthe Mailil – creative director

Dorthe Mailil has created the Maileg collection since 1999 with her unique touch of authenticity that underlines all the Maileg pieces.

She is a graphic designer from The Danish Design School with studies at the E´cole D´art de Marseille in France and previous stays with creative work in Paris.

The authenticity that underlines Dorthe Mailil´s touch has also made her well known as a graphic designer for both books and magazines. Dorthe Mailil´s design has among others been presented at Louvre, Paris – Caixa Forum, Barcelona and Museum of Modern Art in New York.

As well as her designs – three times – has been a part of the Danish Crafts Collection. www.danishcrafts.dk
